Water Supply - Sierra Leone

Whilst working for a tier 1 UK civil engineering contractor on their project in Sierra Leone, we acted as the commercial manager for the project from feasibility through design, construction and final account. This meant dealing with the contractual effects of COVID and other major commercial impacts, whilst navigating the local market and environmental pressures associated with the volatility of the location.

We led the project in a client facing and subcontract management capacity, achieving a successful outcome and completion of the works for the main contractor. We managed the NEC contract through all commercial processes including change management, risk analysis, valuations, internal CVR reporting and negotiation.
